Current documents
Only documents currently applicable to the live RMCA website appear here. Future services and their associated notices are not presented as live.
This notice explains the Responsible Markets Conduct Association’s legal identity, institutional role and non-statutory status. It sets clear boundaries around what RMCA does, how its programmes operate and what users should independently verify before relying on RMCA materials, programme participation or public information.
SH-02Website Terms of UseThese terms govern access to and use of the RMCA website, its public materials and related digital services. They explain acceptable use, important limitations, the status of RMCA information and the responsibilities that remain with each user when making legal, regulatory, commercial or risk decisions.
SH-03Privacy NoticeThis notice explains how RMCA processes personal data through its current public websites. It covers the technical delivery data generated when you visit a page, the correspondence you send to our published contact routes, the lawful bases we rely on, how long material is kept and the rights available to you under UK data protection law.
SH-04Cookies and Storage and Access Technologies NoticeThis notice records the verified cookie, storage and access-technology inventory for the current RMCA websites. It explains that no cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking storage are used, why no consent banner is therefore displayed, and the controls that would apply before any non-essential storage technology was introduced.
SH-07Intellectual Property, Database and Permitted Use PolicyThis policy explains ownership and permitted use of RMCA content, programme names, marks, databases and public facts. It distinguishes acceptable quotation, linking and verification from scraping, misleading reuse, unauthorised commercial exploitation and other conduct that could remove context or imply endorsement.
SH-08Accessibility StatementThis statement describes RMCA’s current approach to making its website understandable, navigable and usable by as many people as reasonably possible. It provides an honest account of current measures, known limitations and the route for reporting an accessibility problem or requesting information in another format.
SH-10External Links, Third-Party Sources and Attribution NoticeThis notice explains how RMCA uses external links, public records and third-party source material. It clarifies that links and citations do not amount to endorsement, that external content can change, and that users should check authoritative sources directly before acting on attributed information.
SH-11International Coverage and Local-Law NoticeThis notice explains how an England and Wales organisation may publish materials with international relevance while remaining subject to jurisdiction-specific limits. It addresses local terminology, mandatory law, cross-border considerations and the need for users to obtain appropriate local advice rather than assume universal legal effect.
SH-19Complaints About RMCA Services, Governance and ConductThis process explains how to raise a complaint about RMCA’s services, governance or conduct, what falls outside its scope and how RMCA handles concerns. It distinguishes complaints about RMCA from disputes concerning third parties, statutory regulators, contractual rights or future publication-challenge procedures.
SH-20Website Legal Information and Footer Disclosure StandardThis standard records the legal and institutional disclosures that RMCA websites should present consistently. It covers company identity, registered office, programme ownership, non-statutory status, operator transparency and the legal links needed to help users understand who is responsible for the website and its materials.
RM-04Membership, Participation, Contribution and Public Titles NoticeThis notice distinguishes constitutional membership from programme participation, indexed status, contribution, advice and review roles. It explains that these relationships do not transfer regulatory standing, endorsement or commercial preference, and sets boundaries around public titles and the use of RMCA or programme names and marks.
