ABOUT RMCA

An association for evidence-led market conduct.

Responsible Markets Conduct Association is developing common evidence and public-record infrastructure for financial markets, with an initial focus on trading-market conduct, payments safeguarding, complaints and redress.

A diverse group of professionals in discussion

Evidence before status.

Institution before promotion.

Exact identity before general claims.

Why the association exists

Financial-market conduct information sits across legal registers, regulatory permissions, contracts, protection statements and complaint routes. RMCA exists to develop a precise evidence layer that keeps those sources connected to the correct entity and scope.

What RMCA develops

RMCA develops the RCEF evidence architecture, market-specific programme modules and a shared public-register architecture for dated sources, limitations and change history.

Evidence before status

Evidence should retain its source, date, reviewed scope and limitations. It should not be compressed into a promotional badge or transferred from one entity or programme to another.

Programme independence and scope

FDRC and PSCR apply a common evidence structure to different market contexts. Their rules, records and conclusions remain separate.

Current publication phase

The principal website, RCEF materials, programme sites and register services are being upgraded and published in stages. This interim edition presents the association’s current public position without implying live programme status.

IMPORTANT SCOPE

Voluntary and non-statutory.

RMCA does not regulate firms, grant licences, approve or certify businesses, rank firms, guarantee safety or solvency, determine statutory rights or operate a compensation scheme. RMCA materials do not replace checks with the relevant statutory regulator, contractual documentation or independent professional advice.
